わびさび・・不完全さの中に見いだす美しさ
日本人ならではの美意識というのは、静かさや質素さであり、そのものの不完全さであると言われます。完成された豪華なものより、少し何かかが欠落しているものを好む傾向があります。
不完全なものこそが、想像力を掻き立てる。不完全であるからこそ、完全になろうと追求し、発展し続ける。
世界にでると、日本人ほど、日本のことを理解していない国民はいないと感じます。海外では、皆、自分の国のことを自信をもって堂々と発言します。海外に出ると、自分が日本人であること(Identity)を自覚させられ、日本人として日本の文化を世界に発信していく重要性を感じさせられます。

Wabi-Sabi is “the Beauty in Imperfection”.
The word looks familiar to many Japanese, but we never really think deep about the meaning and how Wabi-Sabi integrated into the Japanese culture?
The sense of beauty in Japanese culture lies in the silence and simplicity. Japanese seeks imperfection rather than something gorgeous or luxury. The imperfection creates imagination and it encourages people’s creativity.
